| About Us |
Finishline-Multisport.Com's vision is to expand awareness and grow participation in the sport of triathlon and other endurance sports through the provision of information, resources and services while at t he same time reaching out and giving back to the community. We want to attract a diverse group of people to come and join us. We believe the sports of triathlon, marathon, swimming, cycling and other endurance sports are a perfect way to provide a high quality and healthy lifestyle. We believe that endurance sports are more than an area in which only a few can excel but rather it is a lifestyle that anyone can adopt. We believe that all it takes is dedication to successfully integrate endurance sports into your life whether you have a lot of money or you don't, whether you have a lot of free time or you don't, whether you are young or old, whether you are physically challenged or not. We believe that multisport activities and events are for everyone and we are dedicated to making it so. We can help you bring the sport into your life so that you too can call yourself a triathlete or endurance athlete and live a healthy lifestyle. In addition to making triathlon highly accessible to the community at large, we believe in giving back directly to the community in the form of charity. Kevin Koresky, co-founder of Finishline-Multisport.com, started doing triathlon in 2001 because one of his best friends, co-founder Joe Barrus. asked him to help raise money through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation's Team and Training program. Kevin felt like he could help make a difference and accepted the invitation. Since then they have been using triathlon as a way to raise money and awareness for multiple charities. Giving back to the community is one of our primary goals. Kevin is also very active around the local San Deigo Triathlon community. Koresky enjoys spends time volunteering time to the Triathlon Club Of San Diego by organizing training session, related sporting events, mentoring and putting on social events. http://www.triclubsandiego.org/
